To provide encouragement, education and assistance to newcomers during their integration through community based engagement, while also actively supporting networking, intercultural exchanges and social awareness between arriving and receiving cultures.

  • Establish regular Language Voices café linguas in various localities throughout Europe to provide non-formal language exchange opportunities for newcomers and local residents.

  • Create a women’s language support and exchange group designed to engage local and newcomer women whilst addressing specific challenges newcomer women face.

  • At the same time to develop a volunteer run child care and children’s homework support group to operate alongside the women’s meetings. Aside from meeting the needs of newcomer children with language obstacles, this is to better facilitate women with children to attend the Women's Circle meetings.

  • As a product of the language programs, a buddy up system will be implemented to offer one on one support to newcomers to help overcome the obstacles they face establishing themselves into their new lives.

  • Create an online database of national information and support organisations throughout Belgium.

  • To increase cooperation and coordination between organisations in Belgium with similar and/or complimentary goals.

"“I believe in recognizing every human being as a human being--neither white, black, brown, or red; and when you are dealing with humanity as a family there's no question of integration or intermarriage. It's just one human being marrying another human being or one human being living around and with another human being.”
Malcolm X
