Impros4me happening in April

Impro’s4me is an Erasmus+ funded mobility project to hep volunteers at Welcome Home International who are working with projects teaching refugees languages. It was approved in 2020 right after COVID had started to shut everything down and has been extended for another year because of this. Now finally, on the tail end of Omicron, we have begun to implement the mobility which will take ten volunteers to Austria to learn about alphabetization and using digital technologies while teaching languages to A1 and A2 beginners.

The mobility is planned for April 2-8 with course days and cultural visits taking place on 3-7 and travel days on 2 and 8. The participants will be put up in a nice central hotel in Lindz, Austria, which will be walking distance from the course. A kick-off meeting will take place in Brussels on the 28th of March to inform participants of the events planned and to have them meet virtually the hosting organisation. A dinner will follow.

Welcome Home International is proud to be organising this event to better equip volunteers with the skills they need to perform the challenging tasks the WHI places upon them.
