CyberSafer – Empowering Youth Through Digital Safety
Welcome to CyberSafer, an Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership project dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity awareness and digital resilience among young people and youth workers across Europe.
The project brings together partners from Germany, Belgium, Türkiye, and North Macedonia to equip communities with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
About the Project
CyberSafer focuses on addressing the growing risks associated with digitalisation by promoting cybersecurity awareness, digital literacy, and safe online behaviour.
Through training activities and the development of an innovative mobile application, the project empowers youth workers and young people to understand cyber threats, protect their data, and promote safer digital environments within their communities.
Objectives
Raise cybersecurity awareness among young people
Improve digital literacy and online safety skills
Equip youth workers with tools to become cybersecurity ambassadors
Promote responsible and safe internet use
Encourage young people to explore careers in cybersecurity
Why This Project
As digital technologies continue to expand, young people are increasingly exposed to cyber threats, data breaches, and online risks.
Research shows that a large percentage of cybersecurity incidents are linked to human error and lack of awareness.
CyberSafer addresses this gap by providing practical education and tools to help young people and professionals develop safe digital habits and reduce vulnerabilities.
